Persnickety’s opened in the spring of 2008 by Felice Garrison and family, carrying on a tradition for over 3 generations. After researching businesses in Haywood County, we decided that Waynesville could use a shop offering a unique selection of furniture and home décor at reasonable prices.
The Way House is the perfect location for what we envisioned for the shop. It didn't take long to fill the 4000+ square feet of space with the huge variety of new and old items brought in by consignors. Shoppers enjoy the rich history of the building while searching for that perfect treasure.
With the help of Felice's sister, Lisa Slizewski and close friend (and Queen Merchandiser) Katy Hodges, Persnickety's popularity is growing throughout Western North Carolina.
